I found one, I finally found one!

I finally found one! I finally found a Fisher Price Big Action Garage!!! Yes, I am excited! I have been looking for one for two years! Ever since Cooper went into nursery and I spotted this awesome toy I knew I wanted one. However they are hard to find without spending a pretty penny! They were discontinued I think in 2001 and all I have to say is Fisher Price should start making them again! I search eBay all the time for one. They can go anywhere from $40.00 Pickup only to over $70 with shipping! I snagged this puppy off Craigslist for $10.00!!!! Yes, Craigslist in Tri-Cities!!! I was so shocked when I saw it on there and then that the lady had not sold it yet!!!!

Birthday Fun

Happy Birthday Kate, Cason, and Brenden!
Yesterday we celebrated their birthday's. Cason 15th and Kate and Brenden 24th.


He was so excited with his Thomas Cake.

The kids were all eating their cake and we turned around and Case was taking stabs at Thomas for some frosting! So sneaky!


Cooper decided to join in on the action and then Meg, so Thomas was moved! It was cute!

The kids had so much fun playing together. They stayed outside forever and they played inside too. I think every toy possible was out! Glad they had a good time! I just realized I never took a picture of Carson. Sorry mom, hopefully Hayley did. The kids were going nuts and we were trying to feed them as fast as we could and try and save the cakes!


Cooper was sooo tired after the party. He went and hid underneath Cason's new car rug. Cason went and started walking on him! Too funny!

HAT

Cooper loves this too small Mariners Hat! He had another hat on and then found this one as we were headed out the door. I turned around as we were driving and busted up laughing just looking at it sitting on the top of his head! Grandpa already!

I thought this was so funny when I saw him doing this. Loading his pickup trailer with Play-doh Only a boy! Girls make cookies, boys load pickups!

Cason's Birthday

Cooper had as much fun as Cason on his birthday. Cooper went straight for the presents and helped Case open them. Thank heavens Case did not mind one bit!



I let Case pick this Elmo lap top out at the store. He kept hitting the Elmo key and it repeated "Elmo, Elmo, Elmo" over and over again. A worker there said, "Oh man you are not buying that are you?" I did not even think twice about it. What is one more annoying toy to add to the collection? They were thrilled with it!








I made this Elmo cake and right before we were opening presents Cooper climbed up on the counter to get it and so I put it above the fridge and rubbed it against the cabinet! I was mad, but oh well, I remember what it looked like before!

I left for a second and come back and Cooper had punched Elmo in the eyes! Elmo come on you need to learn how to fight back!

Today is Cason's big day! Two years ago we welcomed this bundle of joy into our lives! He is growing up too fast and it makes me sad. I want my baby back!







Facts about Cason


He was 8lb 5 oz and 21 1/2" long. We were shocked how big he was. He has never slowed down growing since!

He was such a sweet baby, until you made him mad and then there was no turning back!

He hair was beautiful. We thought Cooper had a lot of hair when he was born, but Cason was another story. I would wash his hair in the morning and by the end of the day it was so greasy and stinky!

At eight months he learned how to scream and there has been no turning back. He can make enemies before he even meets someone!




He's a daddy's boy. Loves his dad! Mom loves that too.

He did not like baby food. He did not start eating solids until 9 months. He would clench his mouth and not let a spoon in. We went on vacation to Utah and on the way gave him some french fries. He couldn't get enough. Next we gave him mac-n-cheese. He gobbled it down! We learned he just wanted real food!

He takes a 3-4 hour nap every afternoon!

He can spot a tractor or cow a mile away!

He loves pizza, waffles, and "nonalds" (McDonalds)

Bob, Backyardigans, Clifford, George, Thomas, Tractors, and McQueen are his favorites.

He can hold his breath so long he turns blue and looks like he is about to pass out!

He has the chubbiest Cheeks and bum that anyone would love to pinch!

That's our Casey and we wouldn't trade him for anything! Cooper needed a brother and we were so blessed he came to our home to be with Cooper. They are going to be best buds for life!

Birth story on Case:

Mom was fed up with Case not coming. The Doctor had been telling me for weeks that he was going to come any day! At 39 weeks he still was not here. When I went in for my appointment the doctor ended up being gone so I had to see a nurse. She said come back next week. I said heck no. The doctor does not have me scheduled for next week and he already has my postpartum appt. made, because he said I would not be here. I am not coming back! I went to pick up Cooper and was so so upset! Hayley said I needed to take maters into my own hand and try some natural remedies, or so you call it. I decided I was desperate and could not handle being pregnant any longer! On my way home from her house I ran to Walgreen's and bought some good ol Castor Oil. I did not think it would work. I read all over the Internet the risks involved and decided what they heck I am going to try it. I read if you are ready it will work if you are not it will not work. Well, when your doctor tells you that the head is right there and does not know how you are still walking around, let me tell you it will work! I went to bed that night with contractions that did not hurt at all. Felt the same as braxton hicks but a little more frequent. I woke up about an hour after I fell asleep and told Brenden I was going to go get checked out at the hospital and see if they would admit me since I was group strep B positive and they have to get an IV started with antibiotic. He said why don't you wait another hour. I said no, they don't hurt but they are pretty close together, I think I should go. That was at 11:45. As I was pulling into the hospital I called my mom and dad answered I told him that I thought they would admit me and to have mom be ready and I would call her back. Mom was coming to the birth, because with Cooper, Brenden almost fainted and he demanded I call my mom and tell her to get down to the hospital. Once I made it to the Birthing Center I was in Pain! I was dilated to a 7 and the next thing I knew my water broke and they said it was time to push! What? Time to push I did not think so! Needless to say little Case was born at 12:40. I called Brenden to tell him he thought I was joking! We could not get a hold of our babysitter, Hayley, so I called my good friend Lacey. She ran over half asleep and stayed with Cooper so that Brenden could come to the hospital! All in all I was kinda relieved Brenden was not there. I have not screamed so much in my whole life! There would have been no room for him in the room, since it was an exam room. I could just see him pacing the hall going crazy! He came to the hospital all showered and ready for the day at 1:00 in the morning. I had to laugh. He said it was wonderful to come and be able to meet his baby with all the hard work over!

Adams County Fair

We love going up to the fair in Othello. We have not been able to go for the past two years and I was going this year!


Grandpa pulled a 100 year old wagon from Lind in the parade. He wanted Cooper to ride with him. Cooper sat up there for a minute and then right after this picture burst into tears! Maybe next year! Bobby the dog rode underneath the seat. Bobby is Grandpa's best friend and the only dog Cooper is not scared of!

Looking for candy. This little girl in the picture is Allie. She is the most adorable little girl ever. She is Cooper's exact age. We want him to marry her when he grows up!

After the parade we headed over to the fairgrounds. I love the Adams County Fair! A nice little county fair with all the amenities but only 1/3 of the people. I love going and letting Brenden run into old friends and letting him reminisce of the good ol days when he ruled the fair grounds. He only dreams that his children would be able to take animals there.

Cooper was all over the rides. He wanted to go on this Rocket one first. I was so afraid he was going to start freaking out when he realized it went high up in the air. Nope! He loved it!

We let Case go on the fish ride with Cooper. This ride actually went pretty fast. Cason loved it. He giggled the whole ride!

Torque-N-Tune

Brenden has a friend that he calls Torque-N-Tune. He can fix any snowmobile, dirt bike, four wheeler, you name it. Cooper has taken on this nickname. He is always out messing around in the garage trying to find any hammer, screw driver, wrench, you name it. He will work on his bike, my car, lawn mower, you name it! I caught him finishing up the other day. He was taking the wrench to that little Vacuum this day. We can never find any tools and he is partially to blame. We end up hiding everything from this kid. I just hope he likes to fix stuff when he gets older and I can put him to good use around the house!

Swimming with the Beehives

Cooper went swimming with the Beehives for Mutual the other night.

Here he is with Jori. He would not leave her alone! She has babysat him a few times so he loved following her around.



Still following Jori. She was really good and didn't even act too annoyed with him. He just keep yelling "Jori, Jori, where are you?" He would not let her out of his sight!

Maddison being cute. I was in Beehives in our old ward and was recently called back into Beehives in our new ward. I have enjoyed getting to know the girls! I really enjoy the Beehive age. So eager to do anything they are asked, love coming to mutual, and think anything you tell them is the best!

2nd day of school

We were late on the first day of school, so no pictures! This is cooper on his second day of school. Kate spent the night, so here is the two of them! Cooper kept asking Kate to go to school with him and she would reply, "I can't go to school with you Cooper, I'm not five!" It was so cute. She even told his teacher that. Cooper not interested in picture..again!

Brotherly Love

This is how my boys show affection for one another. Yes, biting! When Cooper gets really mad at Case he will sometimes bite! It is absolutely horrible. One of the hardest parenting moments. You know you want to go beat the one who bit and discipline him right then and there, but how do leave the wounded. I don't know what to do in that situation. I just can't leave Case who is just screaming in pain! Anyways, this happened about 3 or 4 weeks ago. I was pretty mad about this one since it was right on his cheek!

It is kinda hard to tell but it was really swollen and left a nice little bruise for a few days. Yes, I did go and get Case a nice little milk bottle to comfort him!




All better now! I love how kids are so quick to forgive! I know this picture might creep you out, but I need some pictures so I can show him when he gets older how he was cross eyed. Oh, and by the way Cooper knew he was in big trouble that day. I was torked to say the least. I sent him to his room told him to not move from his bed and slammed his door. He knew I ment bussiness because it was a little after noon and he did not move and he decided to take a nap. I was shocked and it was a good thing he went to sleep because I was not about to let him out of his room!

Benton-Franklin Fair

Holy catch up! Well, I need to start being a better blogger so I will play catch up! The end of August means the Benton Franklin County Fair. I attempted to take the kids on Thursday, but by the time we got down there they were too exhausted and so was mom, so we ended up going back on Friday night and took dad with us!

The cool thing about this fair is your ticket to the fair gets you into the rodeo. We took the kids for a little bit until we had enough of Cason's screaming and kicking! As we were leaving we got to see some muttin bustin! So cute! My dream would be to have one of my kids do that! I told Brenden we need to buy a sheep so the boys can practice. There is no way that Cooper would just go jump on one of those crazy sheep in front of hundreds of people! We need to practice, we will see if it ever happens!

The white fence in the back is from Kent Farms. Brenden says the fair came and bought a ton of fence panels from Kent Farms a few years back. All of Kent Farm's fence panels were painted white, so when you see all the white panels at the fair you will know who they bought them from!


My baby is growing up. He looks like a big boy!


And he found the 4-wheelers! Yep you guessed it, there was a screaming fit to get him off of it! Thank heavens we were headed to the car!

Cooper totally not interested. All he was thinking was what four wheeler do I want to get on next! Yes, he does bleed two stroke oil!
