Memorial Day

We had a fun day celebrating Memorial day in Othello. The boys were so excited to go. They had been asking for days when we were going to Grandma & Grandpa's house to see BOBBY! They loove Bobby.

They loooved ridding Jackson and cried when they had to get back in the car.

Jackson is a miniature mule. His dad is a donkey and his mom a Shetland pony. I think.

The horse in the middle is Brenden's pride and joy. He raised this horse and thinks this is one of the best horses he has ever had . He only wishes he had more time to ride him.

The newest addition to High Country Mules. Little Johnny. Little Johnny is a small mule like Jackson also. He is a little bit bigger than Jackson, but not by much.

The boys ask everyday if they can go back to Grandpa's house and see Bobby and the mules. Thank heavens for Grandparents, they are the best! Afterwards, we headed into the cemetery to visit Brenden's grandparents graves. My Camera went dead so no pictures. On memorial day it was his Grandma Amy Kent's 100 birthday!! I wish I had a picture on my camera of Brenden and his dad at her grave. We took one with Grandpa's I-phone, so hopefully you grandkids can figure out how to get it off this summer!

Idaho

A couple weeks ago Brenden was headed to Idaho to meet with some customers, so the boys and I tagged along. We always have such a fun time staying with aunt Krissy and family. Cooper and Cason had so much fun playing with cousin Devrie, but some how I never took any pictures of them.

Here we are at Bear World. We went last year and had such a good time, that we went back again. I don't know who likes it more the boys or Brenden???

There is much more to see at Bear World, besides bears. Lots of deer and elk and my boys are just as excited to see them as the bears.

At a look out on the way home. Brenden's new favorite way, Crater's of the moon. I personally do not like it since there is only like one gas station to stop at for 3 hours...

And better than Bear World was this heard of elk along the freeway on top of Cabbage before we started down the hill. I have never seen that many animals so close to the road. We had a great time. It is nice to get away once in a while and then come and realize how great being home really is.

Happy Mother's Day

Despite not hearing any of the Sacrament talks, changing a 2 yr olds stinky, and the boys fighting over my precious rose and breaking it in two leaving a trail of rose leaves all down the hall, I had a great mother's day!

I am so grateful for all the wonderful mother's in my life, who set such a great example for me and inspire me to be a better mother and wife every day! Mom, I hope you had a wonderful day in the hills of W.V.

Brenden's parents were able to come over today for dinner and we had a fabulous time! Thank heaven's for an amazing mother in law! Grandpa brought a big treat for the boys..... BOBBY! Bobby is grandpa's dog. Cooper and Cason love Bobby and talk about him non stop! When ever they talk to grandma or grandpa on the phone they say, "where's bobby at?"



Cooper became a little too comfortable with Bobby.

We are so grateful Bobby is so kid friendly. Anyone who knows grandpa's previous dog Pugsley, knows Cooper's foot would have been bitten off before this happened.

They sure do love their grandparents and ask daily to go to grandma's house. Brenden told Cooper before they arrived, "when grandma gets here all you have to say is, " Grandma, SLEEPOVER!!!" So he was chanting this for thirty minuets. He had so much fun when he stayed with them when Casey had his eye surgery. He can't wait to go back for a sleep over, but I don't know who is more excited Cooper, Brenden, or grandma!

Back at it

The boys handcuffed me and tied me to a tree, hence the blogging hiatus! Even though some days that is what it feels like I love these munchkins and can't imagine my life without them! A few weekends ago we had really nice weather and Brenden wanted to BBQ. I ran to the store to get the necessities. Chips were on the list. From a young age Case man has loved his chips. Sunday morning he woke up and wanted Chips for Breakfast. I told him, "No" and we listened to him scream on the floor for 2o min. Monday morning same thing. He wants chips for breakfast. I told him, "no, we don't eat chips for breakfast". Throws a screaming fit for 20 min on the floor. Tuesday, you get the idea same thing. Wednesday comes along and guess what? The boys sleep in!!! They did not wake up until 7:40!! I was on cloud nine!!! Cooper had not slept in that late in at least a year!!! I took advantage of it and jumped in the shower. While in the shower they woke up and Cooper comes in and talks to me for a minute and then leaves. After I jumped out of the shower I went to check on them and Cooper wanted me to change the channel. As I was climbing the stairs I said, "Where's Casey at?"
Cooper responds, "right here pointing to him."

And as for this picture.... brotherly love. Watching a show together sitting in the same chair. It melts my heart when they look out for each other want to be together and play together.

Lucky Day

Cason had a "Lucky Day" on Friday. He dumped out the remainder of a box of cereal on the coffee table and was driving his trucks through it. When I found his mess I said, "Cason what are you doing?" He shot me one of his killer smiles, and I thought, why not, why not just let him play? So, I did. He had so much fun and entertained himself for quit some time. I think you just have to let kids have their "Lucky Day" every once in a while.

My brother and sister in law welcomed these two cuties into the world this week!


I was able to go to the hospital and meet them!

This is a really weird picture. Dedre was telling me a story and Taryn snapped it. Taryn made everyone who came to visit hold the girls this way when you first came.
